There Is A Reason Why Poem by Wilson Khor W.H.

There Is A Reason Why

There is a reason why autumn trees shed leaves
And there is a reason why those leaves are golden.

There is a reason why we can't keep things
And there is a reason why people come and wouldn't stay.

There is a reason why night follows after day
And there is a reason why dewdrops vanish as dreams fade away.

There is a reason why not all things can be said
And there is a reason why we can never know all things.

There is a reason why the stars can't be counted
And there is a reason why rivers won't stay in a single place.

There is a reason why oceans are always groaning
And there is a reason why turtles go home after years of wandering.

There is a reason why caterpillars grow into butterflies
And there is a reason why nothing stays the same.

There is a reason why pain lingers for as long as we live
And there is a reason why we find solace in questions with no answers.
