There Were No Words Poem by Procyon Mukherjee

There Were No Words

There were no words
Just some spaces and notes
A long pause left in the air
Like the Ballad in G Minor

My god, left no traces of laughter
Some weak moments rose
From listless habits
Like a poetry in living

The cadence, no more
Like a shattering wind
Made a sordid knock
To the next event

Of reading with a heart
My eyes in agony
Looked up to the floating piece
Of a bygone
