They Feel (Do I Really Need It?) . Poem by ADEDEJI ADETIMEYIN TIMILEYIN

They Feel (Do I Really Need It?) .

I seem lonely, do I really need an attachment? ,
Like a spiral shellto a breezy snail;
When he can always feel secure under the tree,
Under the stone and at the shallow of the land.

I feel lonely like a one, do I really need a companion two? ;
When a same figure like me can make a two,
Join together to make a four and a more.

Am cold and wet, do I really need sun and fire;
Like a drain garment drunk in a pool,
When a long wait in a coffin and a shadow can make him warm,
And Dry him like a harmattan leaf.

I seem thirsty, do I really need water for the existence? ,
When the saliva in my mouth is as close like a tissue in the neck,
Flow like stream without a known source, can keep me pushing.
I feel this hunger, do I really need to serve? ,
When a chroma spice on this food served can't keep him visiting.

I feel left out from the sociable camp;
Like a used stick from a match box,
Do I really need my mind troubled, swift like a beach wave? ! ,
When they will soon be like me or already as me.
Do I really need that companion like a lover? ;
They feel I need one, When the best (companion)can be me,
Not like my shadow though,
Do I really need this (type of)Life? ,
When getting it won't keep me living,
For its living will one day be taken.
DO I really need it? ! .
