They Said
They said
Love was the best cocktail juice out there
A mixture of the best tropical fruits
The drink of the Gods;
It was enough to mend broken breath
It was enough to turn rocks to swans,
I knew what I heard
Had enough of it rather,
So I decided to give it a try,
I don’t know what went wrong
Or if I drank the same liquid
They’ve all been chatting about, but;
All I’ve tasted was salty water
