It lasts but a short while.
The second one was for association,
But talk runs out of style.
However the third is meant to last,
We hope for heaven's sake!
We know you both have a lot of class,
Therefore this one's gotta take!

I LOVE this poem. I was tooling around on this site looking for the perfect poem to read at my best friend's (third) wedding and I screamed right out loud with laughter when I read it. I'm glad I'm not alone in the ' the third time has GOT to be the charm' philosophy! Now if only she'd let me read it at the wedding proper...
