This Land Of Mine Poem by Karl Jones

This Land Of Mine

As i walk this land
I stop and glaze
At the green land
Before me
I see the sunlight
Shinning down
On this green land of ours
The wind glistens
Slightly thought the air
I look above
And watch the clouds move
Floating through the air
Like cotton
It's so light
As i keep walking
I see the dusk of daylight
The stars begin to sparkle
On this green land of mine
I look above and see a shooting star
I make a wish that will fly away
Through the night sky
The star's will stay
I leave this land of mine for now
But tomorrow will be another day.
