This Little Stipulation (Free Verse)

This Little Stipulation (Free Verse)

My Father
Called me into his chambers
For a short conference
Last night
He told me to pass
A little information
On to ya'll
He told me
To tell ya'll
To return
My little signet to me
With a formal apology
And he will consider it
In his verdict
And judgment
Against ya'll
And if ya'll
Decide to ignore
This little stipulation
He too
Will weigh
Ya'lls decision
In his verdict
And judgement
As well
I wonder
If its true
Will much
Of California
Run out of water
Within
Four months
If there are
No
April showers
That bloom
In May
