This Town, This Place Poem by Max D. Hornbogen

This Town, This Place

This town, this place has given me a lot of memories. Now when I look back at those years it makes me think of the days that I was young.

You know looking at old pictures, can get me teary eyed. Well don’t you see the distance ahead; you know the sun will shine.

When I see the old faces, it takes me to a warm familiar place. This town has given me a warm feeling inside; I will not leave you behind.

Storms have come and gone, just like the wind blowing by. This town has seen some sad times, but you know that the sun will shine again.

Moment’s here are like nothing you’ve ever seen before, but the sunsets are so clear as can be. Not even a rain cloud could take form, from above.

This place has even given me a smile in many ways, but when I sit and stare into the stars they just make me got lost in my mind. There are places to climb here; the views are so amazing & stunning.

This town has given me everything; the moment’s here is what I treasure the most.
