Those Feelings, Them Tears Fall. Poem by Jodie Louise Pollock

Those Feelings, Them Tears Fall.

When your eyes let loose of those tears,
Your heart lets loose of those inner fears,

To let the world know just how frightened you are,
To let them know your feelings really do stretch that far,

When you feel so alone and empty inside,
When you have no feeling of self,
You have no pride,

You let them know, let them see,
Let them tears fall, fall freely,

When your world comes crashing down,
When the once happy world does nothing but, rain, storm, frown,

The feelings you hide and forever hold,
Are falling from you, so real, so bold,

To let them feelings out,
You have to trust,
No more doubt,
But that’s too much,

You let them fall,
But only that one time,
Then you’re back behind your wall,
Your fears still yours but also mine,

You feel that pain,
But all bottled up,
I think I feel the same,
But my sympathy and love is just not enough.
