That gift, in the monsoon of 1994
A Titan wrist watch-model TIMEX
Costing around 450 Indian rupee
A considerble amount of those times
Signified the importance & relevance
That valuable 'TIME' portrayed the
         Position
That was held during that era of '94
An exquisite yet promising souvenir
Of the happier moments to transpire
A warm fellowship was only desired
But the favoured destiny pronounced, the otherwise
Now in the current, while briefly
       conjuring
A bittersome mistake,
Never to be repeated again
A disturbing regret
Never to be recalled again
An unbreakable promise
Never be emotionally attached
A futuristic planning
Never to break those defences
Again....
In the varied stages of life...
That were about to commence...
