Thou Poem by I, Mongoose

Thou

Rating: 5.0

In the song of the nightingale
I hear only your name.
Waves forever roll, reaching the coast
Just to be nearer thee.
Tonight the moon hath borrowed light
That he too may gaze 'pon thy beauty.
All the world, mere set and prop,
Dissolves to silence when thou appear.
For thee alone the sun doth shine
And beateth this heart I once thought mine.

The mysticism breathing in the poem leaves the reader spell bound. May the beauty of love thrive. Thanks a lot.
