Though Conflicts Rise

THOUGH CONFLICTS RISE
Though a Christian, are you hiding
Often, shy you'll yield
Under pressure those deriding
May make you quit the field

Discouragement is never rare
Difficulties will rise
But love will rally round to share
In many divers guise

Christ Jesus! love's, instigator
Life's awesome, stand by King
As Salvation's elevator
Sad souls resume to sing

Most conflicts last a little while
Until they pass, stand true
Be sure soon, again you'll smile
Knowing God tested you

Knowing you'd stand, knowing you'll win
Your strength, tenacity
Knowing you've nailed your bygone sin
Upon Golgotha's tree

But you yourself! have need to know
You possess such power
Wherever in life you may go
Before its final hour

Yet standing fast, in Jesus' hand
Believing! then you'll see
Quite suddenly, you'll understand
Salvation's mystery

Nothing's impossible God to do
Knowing Jesus is near
Knowing God, forever loves you
What have you to fear? ? ? .....
