Though You May Not See Poem by Wendy Brasher

Though You May Not See

Though you may not see, the tears still flow.
As I lay wrapped around you, thinking of what you went through.
What so many others are going through now.
Sent to a foreign land to stand up for your family, friends and even the ones who do not care.
The tears fall because of pain I know you have, pain I can not take away.
The pain that no one will know or understand unless they have been there.
Though I will never truely feel and understand what is burried so deep inside, I am here.
The one who will always stand beside you, the one who wants to comfort you, heal you and the one who cries out!
Why? ? ? Why must he and the others endure such pain? ? ?
God have mercy on our soldiers.
The ones who stand tall for you and your nation.
Freedom does not come Free! ! !
