Threepeat Defeat
she offered her heart
when she was eleven
it got crushed
it was her first love
she offered her heart
in 11th grade
he dropped it to the floor
it was the second attempt
she offered her heart
for two years
he left her for another
third time was no charm
she didn’t offer heart
for the rest of her days
she broke away from fantasy
threepeat defeat was enough
