We aspire
we compete
to sit in the high chair
to realise how dreams do flair
so thoughts soar
moments visibly rise
when we see some fear
to come to us very near
and we get tickled
we feel power rests near
and a taste so different
to make our life so vibrant
soon a new sun beams
and more warmth it brings
and we recede from our aim
to serve our fellow men
and we nurture a secret ambition
to glue forever to the throne
and smile at those who grow in fear
to come near with fearful tears
but ever forgetful we are
behind each tear rests a power
that flexes muscle quite very near
To throw us out from the throney chair.
