Till Her Last Breath. Poem by Ruth anthony

Till Her Last Breath.

How long would you profess
That you don't love me,
And how long shall I carry this lie in my heart
When I know you truly love me.

How long would you stay stubborn,
And how long shall I be submissive

How long would you not express your love,
And how long shall I wait to dive in your love.

How long would you run away from me,
And how long shall I run after you.

How long would you hurt me,
And how long shall I suffer your misery.

I am tired of your pretentious nature,
My heart bleeds in your name,
My soul yearns for your love,
And my eyes seeks your face wherever I go.

But thou find no heed,
Therefore I wanna rest in peace.
Then thou will summon me,
And my closed eyes would say
I am no more with thee.
