Time Poem by SC DeQuanna

Time

The crickets sang a lullaby
As the moon danced all night
Slowly inching through the sky
Having an amazing time

The birds chirped a morning tune
As the sun made his way through,
He was kind and made you feel warm
As he woke you in the morn

The spring bloomed flowers
For the honeybees
As she listened to the wind
on her face, was a grin

As the spring rested her head,
Her brother came out next
The summer being mighty and strong,
Known and beloved by all
His presence brings joy and fun,
As he watches the children laugh and run

As the summer grew weary,
Fall became quite merry
The children ran around
Everywhere, costumes were found
And as the leaves turned red
With a grand dinner, America was fed

When fall let out a yawn,
Winter awoke at dawn
As she watched a small fawn
In the falling snow,
She smiles as she knows

That time has passed
the year's ended at last.
