Time Poem by Kathlyn Grace

Time

They get paid
by the pain you feel
by the number of things they can tell you
that are wrong
that are messed up
that are not fixable
but they will charge you
fixable or not
They get paid
by the hour
by the heartbreak
by the double takes
They dont mind seeing you cry
seeing you die a little inside
when they tell you you're not all there
when they say that someone out there cares
You know its a game
all for the fortune and fame
a paycheck to pay for the guilt
like dignity can be easily rebuilt
and you wonder if they know
how much it hurts to go there
and be told what you dont want to hear
and im sure this poem has gone off course
and im sure this poem lost you guys somewhere after like three
but to me its all what I am thinking
but then again that wont make sense either
cause they get paid to tell me im insane
