Time Has Come Poem by William Hill

Time Has Come

Time has come

Tick Tock goes the clock, the rhythm of life
Good times and bad times, happiness and strife
Life's what you make it, so try to have fun
It's true, we are the children of the sun

Life is like a beach, so enjoy the breeze
Just remember, this day is yours to seize
Carpe Diem, everyday you are here
Don't be anxious, there's no need to fear

From sunup to sundown the clock ticks on
The clock keeps on ticking when we are gone
Or does it? Thats a good question to ask
You create the moment, what is the task?

Writing our lives, moving forward in time
Life can be just as sour as a lime
But you must take the sour with the sweet
Everyday different people you will meet

They all have different stories to share
Not all of the stories are very fare
Just show that you care and listen up
Go ahead have a seat, pick up that cup

Coffee or Tea which one will be your drink?
A great conversation that makes one think
Stimulating the mind, helps find oneself
You bookworm put that book back on the shelf

Your a character in time, play your role well
Like an angel getting its wings, ring that bell
One day you'll be able to fly away
Brave soul, and tomorrow is a new day.
