Time River Poem by Amy J Richardson

Time River

As time keeps going
The hooves of a horse
The river keeps flowing
Follows it's course
Into the sea
Where the tides ever rise
And the fishes all flee
And jump to the skies
Away from the shark
Whose instinct is slaughter
But they die in the dark
And return to the water
So the river still flows
Over pebbles and rocks
It's rage never slows
Because time never stops...
