Time’s Practically Spent

Become in Christ a brand new birth
Let there be no mistake
While darkness seeks to cover the earth
Let Jesus’ bride awake

Be alert! This final hour
Let love’s lamps brightly burn
Upholding service, maintaining power
Until The Lord’s return

Till then God’s child be not afraid
Stand firm let grace run free
Continue shining sweet righteous maid
Till Christ as Groom we see

Rid ourselves of unholy stench
Be sweet aromas true
Become in fact as a serving wench
In all for Christ we do

He sees our hearts our deepest thoughts
Be righteousness in seed
Let our deeds produce good reports
The whole wide world to read

Let them see an excellent queen
For Christ a virgin bride
Let nothing, no one come between
Let only love reside

What Heaven wants, earth truly needs
God’s soldiers can recruit
Even as gardeners containing weeds
Let’s bear Salvation fruit

Through Jesus’ Spirit standing true
Let’s see the world repent
Allow her children begin anew
Before our time is spent
