Time Traveler Poem by Jay Alexander

Time Traveler

You arrived from
the outer limits of space,
when time began;
started as a tiny dot,
which grew
in micro seconds, to protons,
neutrons and electrons,
finally landing on this crusty dust.

where is that house now;
as you pace the boards,
reflecting on your
past life,
you realise,
that it has passed by
as breathlessly as eternity.

Tks for your feed-back Robert. You've written a lot of poems. I've read a dozen or so and what strikes me immediately is their amazing lyrical quality. Well done.
