To Find Again The Body And Soul Poem by Georges Schehadé

To Find Again The Body And Soul

To find again the body and soul of childhood
in a quiet room lit with thieves
my hands are light whenever I think
A donkey would came from the land of pictures
noises then had no memory
Thus are the objects of grace
the sugar bird with its love-song and the sky a mere blue
