‎to Life ‎ Poem by Tobias Ondoa

‎to Life ‎

‎The alluring lie everyone wants to keep
‎Yet, you drags pure hearts into the deep
‎I want for us a date, to discuss a lot
‎We could use your place, or my hut.

‎A glimpse of the agenda is here, short,
‎To work on your terms and conditions
‎The dos and don'ts of life, let us rewrite it
‎Paying attention to life's weaknesses.

‎Let's revisit the idea or who gets what
‎At what time, where and how to get it.
‎Who gets to sink or float, cry or laugh
‎Seek concerns on who get a rough life.

‎Dear life, we've a lot to talk about here
‎Of those you gave life an took it back
‎To those you let grind in  unending tear
‎Let revise your tasks, to give life a fine track.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
Life is flawed. Existence is unequal. Distribution of suffering seems unjust. We wish we could renegotiate reality itself.
