As long as I live, As long as I love, Watching the shooting start across the backlot, As my life is filled with good intentions, I look up and smile, I would give anything, Just to smile another day, And in my dreams I hold her hand, As we watch the people past, And I never want to leave, Is that too much to ask, To live on a quiet little street, Just something we all need, To live one day in the scene, And I fall into dreams as others run away, I would give anything, Just to see the sun, I would give anything, Just to live one more day, I wold give anything just to see the smiles I create, And the love that is shown.
