To My Grandpa...Rip...11-26-05 - Poem by Kristina White
I know your waiting,
I feel you watching.
I can hear your voice,
In the deepest of my dreams.
I know you were disappointed in me then,
But you'd be proud of me now.
I wish you would have never left me astray,
In a place that is so very far away.
I think of all the times we had together,
Even when we just talked about the weather.
The dinners we ate,
The TV shows we hate.
We fought most of my life there,
But there was never a time i didn't care.
I want you here by my side,
To give me to him as his bride.
I know what i feel,
It is you by my side,
Everyday, every night,
To make sure things turn out right.
I know that you know everything,
That was always how it was.
I love you,
And miss you,
This you already know.
I'll never forget the day you had to go,
The cold November in the snow.
Rest In Peace My Dear Grandpa. (November 26th 2005)
