To My Wife, The Lady Of My Life Poem by Noah Body

To My Wife, The Lady Of My Life

We've had many times, both good and bad
We've given each other the best we had

Through it all, the highest high, the lowest low
Through all those times, I have loved you so

Through the sweetest times, and the bitter
You've been by my side, been my baby sitter

Through times I've hated you and you've hated me
Though underneath it all love carried us you see

Great times and lousy times, we've seen it all
But with love in the mix we shall never fall

I want to wake beside you every morn
The force of our love I shall never scorn

I love you dearly, more so every day
At your side I want to always stay

As the saying goes,

If you should live to be 100, let me live to be 100 minus a day
So that I never have to live a day without you
