To Sabina Poem by Montserrat Martinez

To Sabina

Gentle woman of immeasurable endurance
with a beating heart that can soften a lethal dart
Of gracious smile, your spark traveling miles
Touching the souls of many,
children and strangers alike
Lovely lady of coffee eyes and alluring smile
Tonight, we will stargaze and choose the most glazing star
Knowing that time is an illusion of delusion
Lady of perpetual love and light
Gone are your steps on the ground
Howbeit, your lingering spirit will always remain bright

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
Sabina was a young teacher killed in a London Park at night time. I never met her but I felt it was proper and loving to dedicate her a poem based on what I read about her in the newspapers.
