Waiting has gotten me blindfolded
It chose to do what it had to
Instead of doing what it could
Reality is not real; it hurts
The disability to take it a sin sweeter
Deems me incomplete, insufferable
I believe that there’s a little more
My eyes are uneasy as they’re closed
I will never know, I will never love
Until I remove what covers my eyes
And burn in the truth that will
Envelope me, destroy me;
To that, I submit completely
