To The Impoverished A Jesus Almost Always With Head Of Thorns - Poem by Bill Grace

The radio tells of rice price inflation
Rice price sounds nice
But belies the suffering of Filipino poor - others
And all systems that move with the underlying question:
What's in it for me?
That only a Christ crowned with thorns could even hope to answer.

Very profound. There is much suffering in the world. But prayer does help. For prayers
have wings you know. Always happy to read your work.

    Warmest regards,

    Sandra
