To Those Who Wait

The Bride is not in Heaven yet
Some doubt she ever will
Many a need must first be met
And Satan’s out to kill

Who undermine the devil’s might
His evil cunning lies
Is like a fool, devoid of light
Certainly not too wise

Some say life’s yoke they have to bear
Is far too hard for man
But Jesus’ strength is always there
In Him! We know we can

God gives power to those who wait –Isa.40: 31
On eagle’s wing they’ll ride
His mighty arms are long and great
And Satan cannot hide

Man’s mortal eye, yet may not see
The devil knows this too!
Yet sight, receive God’s children free
Through Christ, when born anew

We’ll flee the wrath, God’s vengeful sword
While others burn in sin
Real victory comes when Christ’s true Lord
Where Satan cannot win

It’s Jesus Christ The Father’s Son
It’s Jesus all the way
Alone in Christ, the battle’s won
And devils, has no say

The strength of God will see us right
On Heavens’ Wind we’ll soar
Guiding us through the darkest night
Helping through Heaven’s door…
