Today's World Poem by Parag Biswas

Today's World

Rating: 4.5

Cambrian to quaternary
We evolved the most
History to modern
To the present’s coast

We are the sharpest
With unbelievable intelligence
Among all species, the cleverest
Now, no matter if ladies or gents
But still we are dissimilar
‘Cause everyone’s not the same
Even if names are similar
Each plays a different game

And the world is ruled by not
The governments or organizations
But ruled by different minds
And the continuous innovations

We diverge in two lives
Personal and professional
Both unequally attended
Frequent or occasional

On personal some lean
Family problems they fear
Always thinking one thing
Maintain the reputation gear
But never has one escaped
The traumas of society
Everyone has to face it
It’s set by the Almighty

Different professions public takes up
Some lean mostly on them
With presence of talent and sense
Your worth is more than a gem
And again we face criticism
Our tension at the peak
Some are quiet bold to it
And some are too weak

With all these differences in
The world we must sustain
Everything will pass smoothly
If the life gear we maintain
Today’s world is very erratic
With so many crispy cases
But daily, form birth to death,
We come across many faces.
