O Sudhir Janardhanan

Today, Yesterday’s Tomorrow - Poem by O Sudhir Janardhanan

Character, being’s nature
Masquerade as person unknown
Plausible, become a stranger known
I, posturing, attempting to add sense never depth

Dream, sleep’s awoken
Mind journeys behind closed eyes
Monochromatic images view coloured urges
I, sepia toned, spectrum of purged hues

Dawn, night’s morn
Sea, black, sheet of shimmering pane
Sky, dark, smoky mirror haze
I, earth light dulled, suspended in space

Today, yesterday’s tomorrow
The past in the present seen
The future in the present seem
I, dismember, remember today as yesterday's tomorrow
