I wish
The path lengthened
And it rained
Just enough that
We could linger
And no longer could hear
Anything beside each other
There then
And the rain
Wading childishly
Through the pools and puddles
If there came
The path slippery
We could be each other
Walking cane
In the moment of
Laughs and giggles
Rain, pools and puddles
You busy protecting
Your jeans and outer
I could steal your gaze
And pull you closer
To look into
Your dark limpid eyes
To capture your smile
That would keep running
Through me for days.................
