Too Close Poem by Sylvia Carter

Too Close

I'm too close to being 100 years old to still hold to past unpleasant situations, that I sometimes allowed myself to be involved in

Too close to being 100
years old to harbor hate.

Too close to being 100
years old to find faults with anyone who has made unwise decisions.
As I look back at my time here so far it's been an interesting journey, I thought I loved at least
the two, I married however some thing changed? are did I ignored the obvious?
I'm Too close to being 100 years old to have to second guess, either your in or out of my life.
Love me while I'm here and I'll do the same for you.
