Too Old Poem by charlotte harris

Too Old

What happens when you realise,
That everything is fake,
One big happy game,
Not one bit of it real.
I'll tell you what happens,
Your life falls apart,
Everything changes,
And you begin to realise,
That you're too old to pretend,
Too old to mess around,
To old for their childish games.
But that's only until you simply become,
Too old.

Very true. An interesting concept. Beautiful writing, great stuff.
