Too Well, Too Well Poem by Isaak DeMaio

Too Well, Too Well

White skinned blank face,
I see right through your eyes,
you can't fool me,
I know exactly who you are.

Time rolls along with the waves,
confusion fogs your thought,
hope is in a far away place,
I know exactly where you belong.

You can't change what has come and past,
you can't expect everything to last,
even the most flexible glass is bound to break
I know exactly what you want.

The more you squeeze,
the more it slips away,
is it really worth it?
I know exactly what you're going to say.

The more you want to get away,
the closer I am going to stay,
it's something that you can't change,
I know exactly what you want to hear...
you're going to be okay.
