carelessly floats on history river
October nineteen focuses camera
to change Parliament Hill season's weather

screen of iPad counts traditional time
waiting for election from east to west
liberal party renews the old rhyme
refresh conservative record for best

the melody melts mulberry garden
take ten years memory to Toronto
freedom and democracy gets golden
time river carries on Ontario

autumn brings Canada seasonal faces
political life comes from people spaces
