Touture Dream Poem by Monica Rose

Touture Dream

Rating: 5.0

They fly their hands into the air...
Cast a spell upon me to never let me die...
They throw their heads back..
And just laugh.

Laughing, laughing, laughing.
I feel like I am going to burn...
Because what I have done

Tossing and turning in my sleep.
My arms are tied,
My mouth is stitched closed,
My legs are cut off.
Bleeding, Losing, Draining
Blood.

'Because of that you have done you must pay! '
Is carved across my chest.
Stinging like a thousand pins getting jabbed
Into my flesh.
The ceremony goes on for hours...
They have poured acid across my chest,

I struggle to scream,
I can't run...
I cant even hide...

Burning above the fire.
Everyone is just starring
Watching me..
They are watching me in this torture dream.

(sorry if its disgusting...)

I wouldn't say disgusting...i would say creative...just because you write of something tilted slightly towards the darkside of poetry it doesn't make it a bad writting...i am impressed..i enjoyed reading it and would like to see more...many of my poems and such are from the darkside...basically known as dark poetry...it's what all of us feel within at times but feel wrong about exposing it to others...great write Monica ~^..^
