Townhome Poem by Christoph Praus

Townhome

Enclosed in stone wound tight,
A wall for each and one alone,
Four towers watchward into sight,
This townhome will become my tomb;

But not before the dawn's first light,
Will hope abandon will forlorn,
Can gather all my earthly might,
And weather out this dreadful storm.
