Train Of Light Poem by Alexander Foald

Train Of Light

Sitting on a train, moving fast through the night
Chasing a light she can only see, hiding above
No one’s here, no shadow nor any other kind
Just a persistent mind and lonesome feeling

Out in the night, floating like in the water
The moon smiles upon my sadness, calmly and softly
Outside is pouring the shallow rain, a wondering weather
So many thoughts, flash inside me

And I still dream of her, still the same face
Blushing red with blue eyes, staring at mine
Felt so close yet could not I touch, even if I tried
I'll only crashed into the wall of the flashing lines

I’m lonely. I’m desperate. Running away with this train.
Chasing a light I can only dream of, no matter how bright,
I still wonder of her love upon my delicate heart.
