Trainee Teacher's Lament

Lesson went badly
I was too afraid of them?
It's a learning curve.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
This was written after my own personal experience of taking a particularly unruly Year 9 class for the first time as a trainee teacher. Yes, it was terrible, but there are lots of lessons to be learned.

It's also designed as a cyclical haiku - if I'm too afraid of the lessons learned from that experience, it will continue in that cycle.
