Transcient Poem by Adedotun Segun

Transcient

Climbing the mountain all day
Fading into the dark at night
Joining the queue for the train.

We sat round the table and smiled
As we talk about death;
Shadow faster than being

We sat nurturing wound
Looking and admiring
The morning scar on our legs.
