Transports Poem by Mary Champion

Transports

I have shelves full of windows-
portals into other worlds,
other minds.
I make my choice,
open the device
and explore.

I have a room full of time machines
that transport me effortlessly
to any point in time
ever visited by the authors
of these,
my treasured books.
