Trapped Poem by Brooke Cadwell

Trapped

Rating: 5.0

As leaves blow through desert wastelands,
wandering free,
the wind blows them,
they posses no limits,
I watch them fly away,
I wish I could go too,
but I am human,
and I am trapped.

Trapped! ,
As the light grows dimmer i will not,
For I never shined,
never lived,
never loved,
always trapped.

Trapped,
As birds fly from tree to tree,
As i am caged,
trapped,
stuck.

As cats chase mice
As dogs play ball
As moons appear and go,
I will be here,
They are free,
but I am,
Trapped.

I figure since short poems hold messages then why can't long ones hold bigger ones!
