Trapped Poem by Jessie Lee

Trapped

This place is not better
It’s a danger hazard to me
I am stuck here all alone
With people who say they care
But blame me for everything
Defend yourself
Shut up and sit down
You say one thing then do another
It’s a good thing I have God on my side
Because of you I am going to need him more than ever
I am going back the way I was before
My nerves are bothering me
My mind is swirling
Nothing makes sense
Why bring me here if there is nothing I can do
I could have done more where I was
Then I can ever do here
I feel like a slave
I feel restricted
I feel like my life is now a book for the world to read
I don’t get your point?
Well you don’t get mine
Cause you don’t listen.
