Trapped - Poem by Cynthia Gomez

I’m a little butterfly
Stuck in his sticky web
Drawn only to him
Much like a moth is to a flame

I try to break free
It is of no use
No will to over power
Will I ever be released?

I can’t pull away
I can’t hide
This feeling I can’t fake
It’s me he always finds

I can’t do anything
He’s got me wrapped
I’m nothing…
But trapped
