Garbage in a blink of an eye,
Waste, debris, I can't deny,
Trash strewn everywhere, a sight,
A reflection of our careless plight.
People, too, can be discarded
Seen as waste, discarded,
Faces aplenty, scattered wide,
In this sea of humanity, they reside.
The connection we shared, ironically amusing,
A blend of humor and sadness, confusing.
