I missed you and didn't even know it.
You've lived deep inside me for so long.
Hidden even to me.

The slow drip of you became a pool,
now a river with a current getting stronger.

It is you that has driven me.
I don't even know your name.

It is you that I have desired all my life.
It's funny that it comes to me as a child of 37.

Today I wept for you.
A selfish act for me.
