Treasured Poem by Ryan Lee Morris

Treasured

A map with many pages.
Laid out from beginning to end.
To find the most valuable treasure known.
The journey begins.
Treacherous, dark and painful is the way.
I want to turn back,
Then the guide shines His light.
I face the giants and creatures of a world past.
Clashing with the demons.
One by one, they fall.
Until the only thing remaining is the treasure.
Now, I can shine,
Only after I rise.
But I am not the only one.
We are all gems in the chest of our maker,
And we are all truly treasured.
